Founded in the year 1971, Lotus Eye Hospital is a non-profit charitable institute which has been accredited by ISO certification. The Institute has set up a clear goal for eradicating blindness and has taken initiatives to reach each strata of the society with quality eye care at affordable cost.

Lotus Eye Hospital is manned by highly qualified and dedicated doctors, excellent qualified and dedicated team of Ophthalmologists & Optometrists, trained medical and Para-Medical staff. The Institute remains linked to high ethical standards and state of the art treatment technique, and is presently treating over 70,000 patients in O.P.D and performing about 4,500 surgeries annually.

Hospital is also associated with ORBIS international, a non profit organization. The Hospital strives to promote and provide superior patient care, for the treatment and prevention of blindness diseases. They have already been running an community outreach programmes which help the people who are living in relatively distant or less accessible locations like Karjat, Wada, Dahanu and Shahapur etc.
